Former Birmingham City, West Ham and Middlesbrough star available on free transfer

A Premier League club have announced the departure of a former Birmingham City goalkeeper.

Former Birmingham City goalkeeper Darren Randolph has been made a free agent after he was his contract was not renewed.

AFC Bournemouth have published their retained list and Randolph is five senior players that will be departing the Vitality Stadium this summer. Emiliano Marcondes, Jamal Lowe, Lloyd Kelly and Ryan Fredericks are all leaving the Cherries.

Ben Greenwood, Baylin Johnson, Ferdinand Okoh, Cameron Plain and Euan Pollock are leaving the under-21s squad and also Ollie Eagle, Harry Redknapp, Jack Holman and Noah Crisp have been released from the under-18s. In a message to the 14 players leaving the Dorset club, Bournemouth said: "The club would like to thank all those departing players for their efforts during their time at Vitality Stadium and we wish them well for the future."

Randolph was at Bournemouth for 18-months but leaves having never made an appearance for the first-team. He was an unused substitute on four occasions in the Premier League over the last season-and-a-half.

His last game of competitive football came over three years ago when he featured in a 3-1 win for West Ham over West Brom. To date, he has made over 440 appearances at club level and is a 50-time Republic of Ireland international.

Randolph was a goalkeeper at Birmingham City from 2013 to 2015 and was signed by Lee Clark. He made 92 appearances for the club and kept 19 clean sheets, helping Blues to 21st and 10th placed finishes.
