New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to nine of Birmingham’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

The following ratings have been given to six restaurants, cafes or canteens:

• Rated 5: Ame Toastery Cafe at 262 Ladypool Road, Birmingham; rated on May 25

• Rated 5: American Snax N Shakes at Unit 10, 846-848 Stratford Road, Springfield, Birmingham; rated on May 24

• Rated 5: Apna Pizza Bar at Unit 4, 663 Stratford Road, Springfield, Birmingham; rated on May 24

• Rated 5: Melt Dessert and Shakes Ltd at 170-172 Tynedale Road, Springfield, Birmingham; rated on May 24

• Rated 5: Treatz Sparkhill at 671-675 Stratford Road, Springfield, Birmingham; rated on May 24

• Rated 4: Turtle Bay Restaurant at Turtle Bay, 81-91 John Bright Street, Birmingham; rated on April 1

Pubs, bars and nightclubs

And one rating has been handed to a pub, bar or nightclub:
