Latest Blues transfer news as a 44-time Northern Ireland international is the latest to be linked.

Birmingham City are reportedly interested in signing goalkeeper Bailey Peacock-Farrell, according to a report.

Neil Moxley, a journalist for the Daily Mirror is reporting that Blues are eyeing up a move for the Northern Ireland goalkeeper. He claims that Birmingham are one of several clubs 'waiting' to see what Burnley's stance is on Peacock-Farrell.

He has spent the last seasons out on loan, most recently out in Denmark with Aarhus Gymnastikforening. Peacock-Farrell has 12-months remaining on his contract at Turf Moor and with their manager situation still not sorted out, it is unsure whether he will be allowed to leave until a replacement is named.

Burnley most recently rejected a bid from Newcastle United for James Trafford and they also have Arijanet Muric on their books, as well as Lawrence Vigouroux. Peacock-Farrell might be deemed surplus to requirements, but if any Premier League team matches the Clarets' valuation on Trafford, then he could move up the pecking order.

He played 28 times in all competitions in Denmark last season and kept 11 clean sheets as his side finished fifth, and lost to Silkeborg IF in the final of the Danish Cup. Before joining Burnley, Peacock-Farrell was Sheffield Wednesday's first choice keeper and he helped them reach the play-offs. His other experience includes playing for Leeds United and York City, and has 45 games of third tier football under his belt.

Birmingham recently signed Ryan Allsop for an undisclosed fee from Hull City, signing him on a long-term deal. Academy goalkeeper Brad Mayo signed a two-year contract and is expected to be a part of Chris Davies' plans but an experienced goalkeeper to provide competition to Allsop and Mayo might be on the agenda.

Despite the various different managers, one-time England international John Ruddy has been a consistent figure in Birmingham's side since his arrival two years ago. He has been offered new terms by Blues, but Charlton Athletic are also said to hold an interest and have apparently held talks with him.
