West Midlands Police have charged a man and a boy after gun shots were fired in Erdington.
Officers launched an investigation after reports that two teenagers were shot at in Edwards Road on Monday afternoon (28 February).
The 15-year-old boy and 18-year-old man were not injured. They were arrested on suspicion of being involved in an assault earlier in the day.
Following further enquiries police said that they detained Paul Orr, aged 37, from Erdington on suspicion of possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence on Tuesday.
He appeared before Birmingham Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday. He has been remanded to appear before Birmingham Crown Court on 31 March.

A 17-year-old boy was arrested in Weymouth on Thursday night on suspicion of possession of a firearm with intent and transported back to the West Midlands for questioning.
The boy - who police are legally unable to name - has now been charged with the offence and remanded to appear before Birmingham Magistrates Court yesterday (Saturday, March 5).
A 24-year-old man who was arrested at the same time as the boy on suspicion of assisting an offender has been released and will face no further action.
Police added: “We’re committed to tackling gun crime and keeping our streets safe.”
