Hey Jude was released in August 1968 and was the top-selling single in the UK that year.

The resurgence of this 1968 classic can be traced back to England’s recent victory over Serbia, where Bellingham’s decisive header clinched a 1-0 win.

The triumph was not just a win for the team but also a moment of serendipity as fans, in a spontaneous chorus, filled the stadium with the familiar strains of ‘Hey Jude’.
