Seven of Wolverhampton's primary schools received a surprise assembly yesterday from CBeebies megastar Andy Day.

Andy is known to millions of children as presenter of 'Andy's Dinosaur Adventures' and star of 'Andy and the Band' but he's recently swapped the microphone for a pen and has released his first ever children's book titled Dino Dad.

Andy treated local pupils to a sneak peek at the new book, hosted a dinosaur themed quiz and performed a song for them during the 20 minute assembly, which was arranged by Puffin Books.
