New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Birmingham’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Mila Cafe, at 37 Whitmore Road, Birmingham was handed a three-out-of-five rating after assessment on May 13.

And Small Heath Surf and Talk, at 475a Coventry Road, Nechells, Birmingham was also given a score of three on May 13.

It means that of Birmingham's 1,657 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 863 (52%) have ratings of five and just 28 have zero ratings.
